On 8 April 2026, the high-level academic symposium Frontiers in Aging, Longevity & Rejuvenation was held from 13:30 to 18:00 at the Woolf Institute, Westminster College, University of Cambridge. The event was jointly organized by the European Academy for Nutrition, Dietetics & Behavioral Health and the Luxembourg Academy of Sciences and Arts (LASA), with support from the International Academic Organizations Alliance.

Dr. Georg Tyminski, Chairman of the European Academy for Nutrition, Dietetics & Behavioral Health, delivered the opening address. The symposium then featured keynote speeches by Nobel laureates and leading experts.

Professor May-Britt Moser, recipient of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, Foreign Member of the Royal Society, and Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, delivered a keynote entitled “Development of the brain's spatial map: Nature or Nurture?”. Her presentation explored the developmental mechanisms of the brain's positioning system and its implications for cognitive aging.

Professor James B. Rowe, Chair of the AstraZeneca Scientific Committee and Director of the Cambridge Centre for Frontotemporal Dementia and Related Disorders, presented a talk entitled “Dementia and resilience,” addressing the latest challenges and emerging opportunities in dementia research.

Professor Dr. Jiong Wu, Member of LASA, chaired the expert roundtable forum. The invited Science & Research Team, Zhen Ao Group, also participated in the academic exchanges.


The event brought together approximately fifty scholars, clinicians, and researchers from the University of Cambridge, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and other leading European institutions, fostering a focused and productive atmosphere of academic discussion.
